Recently, the dark fantasy film “Red Riding Hood” was released to the big screen. The poster advertises, “Believe The Legend. Beware The Wolf.”
Will you see this film? Why or why not? Below, you will find a link to the film’s preview. Wolf Preservation wants your feedback!
I will NOT be seeing the movie.
I do realize the movie is purely for entertainment, but the timing is bad.
I’m just not in the mood right now to see a movie that depicts wolves in a bad light…thereby giving wolf-haters more ammunition. Wolf advocates are in a battle for the very lives of wild wolves right now…..then along comes Little Red Riding Hood yet again….ya, I’ll skip this one.
I will not see it because it contributes to the myth that the wolf attacks humans…..I cannot condone this type of entertainment.
Though it is only a movie for entertainment purposes….the timing is really awful.
Thanks for your comments! I have no desire to see this film either, as it portrays a negative, untrue image of wolves. Yes, the release of this frightening fictional story is bad timing, as wolves are in the spotlight more than ever.
