The wolf hunts are underway and Idaho plans to assassinate over 800 wolves, including pups and pregnant females.
PBS reports, “For the first time in years, hunting season for the once-endangered gray wolf is underway in Idaho and Montana to reduce the predator’s population. Cattle ranchers say the hunts are necessary to protect their herds, but environmentalists disagree. Science correspondent Miles O’Brien reports.”

You Cowboys, if you would do as the Double Circle Ranch does, you would not be afraid of the wolves. They ride the range every day. They have not had to kill one wolf because of their persistent, besides their cattle and wolves are no threat to each other. They believe the Wolves have a very important role in our ecosystem.
Just like in the olden days afraid of the Indians. Wake up, before there are other predators out there that the wolves kept away.
All you people and the Politicians and Governors along with the Department of Fish, Game and wildlife think about is to lessen the wolf population.
